Danielle: So, Simon, I hear you’re really into adventure. What’s the biggest adventure you’ve had to date?
Simon: (Leans back in his chair.) Well, Danielle, I’ve had so many. Let’s see, I think I’m going to have to go with the time Cammie surprised me in South Africa to help me steal a rare red diamond. We barely escaped with our lives.
Danielle: Being a jewel thief must have been an exciting occupation. Do you ever wish you could go back to it?
Simon: Not really. I still get to use my skills whenever I want and my new job stays exciting.
Danielle: I understand you met Cammie because of your job. What were your first impressions of her?
Simon: (His lips twitch before he gives me a sly half smile) My first impression was that she was spoiled and was going to be a pain in my a—butt. But I soon found out I was wrong about her. I can admit when I’m wrong.
Danielle: It seems like danger doesn’t even register for you, but that can’t be entirely true. Is there anything that scares you?
Simon: (Shifts in his seat. Seems I hit a sensitive topic) Yes, there is something that scares me. But if I told you it could get back to Cammie. Well, let’s just say Cammie scares me.
Danielle: If you could do one thing every day for the rest of your life what would it be?
Simon: It would involve a pond and Cammie.
Danielle: What’s the one question you were hoping I wouldn’t ask in this interview?
Simon: Is this a trick?
Danielle: (Laughing) You caught me. Can't blame a girl for trying. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Simon: My pleasure. Just...don't tell Cammie I said she scares me.
Danielle: You got it.
