Easy enough.
AND since Krysta made a point to mention my current #PitchWars entry, LIKE WATER, in her post, I figured I would share a bit of it here.
But first....a quick blurb. Just so you know what's going on. Or you can scroll past it and get to the word. Either way.
BLURB:
Seventeen-year-old Micah Donaldson's trying to cope with the death of his twin when a mysterious, possibly crazy (definitely dangerous), young man named Jude shows up claiming he knew Micah's brother and he needs Micah to do something insane: pretend to be his twin.
It should have been easy enough to fool people into believing Micah was the other Donaldson twin, but nothing in his life has ever been simple. Micah sneaks back to the Gilbert Academy, the exclusive boarding school his brother attended, only to sink into a world of telepaths, terrorist plots, and more sexual tension that you can shake a stick at.
As Micah learns more about the school, Jude, and the plan to end freewill on a global scale, his circle of trust shrinks to just one. If he can't trust the guy his heart's falling for, who can say he's going to get out of Gilbert alive?
Okay, now that the scene's set, here's the juicy bits! So there's eight lines here, but I wanted (needed) to give you the whole paragraph.
MY SEV... ER, EIGHT LINES:
As soon as we cleared the doors I was hit by a wave of dizziness. The smell of the ER brought back some shitty memories. Things better not thought of when everyone here was acting wacked out of their gourds. Good thing Jamie'd been gone before he made it here. My stomach roiled. Not that it did him any good. They'd tried bringing him back. Over and over again until my mom's screams stopped them.
And now it's my turn to tag some people.
